GSA accredited 3 day PMVA course specifically for staff who have not had physical intervention training . Designed to equip candidates with solid de-escalation skills in addition to disengagement and restraint techniques.

 

GSA accredited 1 day PMVA refresher course specifically for staff who hold a current valid certificate and require regular updating.

The APLH (Award for Personal License Holders ) This is a one day course which is particularly useful for managers, assistant managers and supervisors or staff within a position of authority. Anyone working in a job role that requires them to authorise retail sales of alcohol in England and Wales must complete the APLH course in order to apply for their personal licence.

Alcohol Awareness & Responsible Alcohol Retailing. This course is a half day course and is designed to give all those involved in alcohol sales a basic knowledge of licensing law, how alcohol affects the body and what constitutes responsible alcohol sales 

Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET)

Accredited 'Train the Trainer' course delivered over 5 days with a specific amount of time afterwards to produce your course portfolio.

This course is for those who wish to:

  • Teach / Train adults

  • Train people in their workplace eg. induction training, staff training days, updates etc.

  • Need a nationally recognised qualification in teaching

  • Teach people to pass recognised qualifications including NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications)

  • Give private tuition, teach on a one-to-one or group basis.

  • Intend to be trainers in industry, commerce or the post 16 sector.

Emergency First aid at Work ( EFAW) This is designed as a 1 day course to provide basic first aid in emergency situations. The training workshop will cover, treatment of a conscious or unconscious casualty,resuscitation, shock,choking seizures and more. 

Level 1 food safety courses are run as half-day courses, suitable for a variety of candidates, including new employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, employees handling low-risk or wrapped food or those who work kitchen porters or warehouse staff

Level 2 Food hygiene training is run as a 1 day course. Training providers have identified a growing need to make food safety learning more relevant to specific business environments to increase effectiveness. Reflecting sector-specific needs these food safety qualifications are required to address new National Occupational Standards. In line with this demand, the Level 2 Awards in Food Safety have been designed to address the food safety and hygiene needs of the catering, manufacturing and retail sectors

Level 1 Health & Safety in the workplace is designed as a half day course and meets the requirements of those entering the workplace as a basic induction to be aware of the working environment and potential hazards

Level 2 Health & Safety is to provide employees with the required knowledge, or refresher training, needed in order to provide a safe working environment within your organisation. This includes an understanding of legal responsibilities, accident prevention and an overview of some of the key areas of workplace health and safety.
